Conference Scope
EP2DS traditionally covers the fundamental physics of electronic
and optical properties of
- two-dimensional and quasi-two-dimensional systems including
- quantum Hall effects and related phenomena
- elementary excitations
- quantum phases and phase transitions
- spin-polarized transport
- electrons on liquid helium
- other low-dimensional systems including
- thin films of metals and semimetals
- one-dimensional systems and quantum dots
- carbon nanotubes
- hybrid structures
- novel probes, fabrication techniques
and futuristic applications
- and new interesting contributions from all areas of
low-dimensional physics.
